Maintaining its charming alpine feel, this luxury chalet has been lovingly refurbished, paying the utmost attention to every detail throughout. Overview

If you are looking for the ultimate luxury in Lech, Austria, then Chalet 1597 is the perfect chalet for you. Having previously been awarded Austria’s Best Ski Chalet at the World Ski Awards,  this luxury chalet is a chic and charming alpine home, sleeping up to 12 guests. And it is conveniently located in the Stubenbach area of Lech, with almost to the door ski access on a marked off-piste run.

Spread over three floors, this spacious chalet was originally built in 1597. Whilst retaining many of its original features, it has been beautifully furnished by its owners with sumptuous fabrics and furniture.  There are five spacious en-suite bedrooms, including two master suites and a children’s bedroom with four single beds, perfect for a holiday slumber party. 

After a day on the slopes, there is no better place to relax and soothe your achy legs than in the spa area with a bio sauna and a relaxation area. Then you can slip into the chalet’s traditional stone cave and wine cellar for an apéritif before dinner is served in the impressive dining room. And if the kids need some downtime during the adults’ dinner, then you can put a movie on in the cinema room. But the best spot for an après drink has to be the chalet’s terrace, which enjoys the sun all day long and is perfectly situated to take in the breath-taking views.

KIDS

Having a private cinema room whilst on holiday will definitely be a highlight for the kids when they aren’t on the slopes. Get their favourite film playing and some movie snacks and you will be guaranteed some peace and quiet.

Chalet 1597 also has a children’s bedroom which has four single beds, making it a great bedroom for the younger members of the party.

Location

Chalet 1597 is located in the Stubenbach area of Lech and it is possible to ski into the chalet from the Rüfikoft ski area on a marked off-piste route. It is a 3-minute drive into Lech. The nearest airports are Innsbruck which is. 1hr 30mins away or Zurich airport, which is 2hrs 30mins away. Please do let us know if you’d like transfers organised – it’s these touches we know make a holiday really work.
