Chalet Bastidons, Courchevel 1850

The chalet Bastidons is a freestanding contemporary ski chalet, which still has all the classic chalet features such as wooden and stone interior and large terrace and balconies. The open plan living area has an elegant dining table with beautifully upholstered chairs in a classic style. Whilst the sitting area is arranged around a large designer fireplace.

As well as this main living area there is a games room with pool table, board games, piano, office area and state of the art cinema room.

The wellness facilities are extensive and start outside on the large terrace with large outdoor hot tub and seating area. Inside at the bottom of the chalet there is the inside pool, huge sauna, massage room, fitness room as well as a large L-shape seating area with coffee table 

The chalet can accommodate up to 12 guests and will be well looked after by a butler for meal service (10h/day), chef for breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea time preparation (10h/day), Chauffeur for driver service throughout the resort (12 h/day), housekeeper for daily cleaning (10h/day) and finally your chalet manager for chalet management, stay organisation and concierge service.

The location of the Bastidons is in a fabulous position, in the Les Chenus area of Courchevel 1850. From here guests can ski-in/ski-out along the Plantrey piste which will take you to the Plantrey ski lift. The resort centre is a 400m walk or chauffeur driven drive. To access the main Courchevel 1850 hub, ski passed the chairlift and carry on down to the Croisette area. 

The resort centre is a 2-3 minute drive and will allow you to explore the main designer shops, boutique shops, bars and restaurants. Alternatively it is a very pleasant 10 minute walk.

The chalet has been so well thought out to give space for all 12 guests, no matter what the group makes up. There is space to chat, talk around the fireplace, sit up at the breakfast bar and eat some pre dinner nibbles, a games room to play a board game or game of pool, or if a member of the group needs some quiet office space. You also have the cinema room and the incredible pool and wellness area. During the warmer months the outdoor seating area basks in the spring sun and offers a lovely sunbathing area.

The generously sized chalet is spread over a huge 787m2 over 5 floors and cleverly combines traditional alpine style with top-of-the-range services. The trusted designer Christophe Tollemer was chosen to carry out the work and decided to keep the natural stone timber, adding classic Louis XV armchairs. These touches allow the chalet to exude elegance and warmth. 

Each bedroom has a boutique finish with french windows leading out to a balcony, flat screen TVs and an en suite bathroom. The master bedroom is larger with large entrance, seating area, dressing area, bathroom with 2 sinks, sound system and terrace.

Chalet Everest along with its neighbours Chalets Nanuq and Chalet Cryst’Aile together to create Hameu de Voliere. This allows a large group such as business are large party to book in the same location. Each property is very well cared for to create excellent service to enjoy gourmet catering and a dedicated team to look after you and the chalet throughout the week. The chauffeur service allows your group to be delivered down to ski school and the lifts at your convenience.

Chalet Everest is so well equipped to suit most groups of people, friends will love a ski holiday close to the slopes with spa facilities and a lovely terrace to enjoy apres ski drinks. Whilst those with kids will enjoy the cinema room, games room and incredible indoor pool.
