The Chalet Cullinan is a luxury chalet in Val Thorens, France, is a haven for keen skiers. Ski-in/Ski-out chalets in France don’t get much better than this location which is ideal for quick access to the high altitude slopes in the heart of the 3 Vallées ski area. The mountain views and down the Belleville valley from this stunning property are breathtaking to combine for an incredible holiday in the renowned resort of Val Thorens.
Overview
Positioned on the edge of the piste this ski from the door location is part of the larger Koh I Nor Hotel. This allows guests to have privacy whilst still enjoying the spa facilities of the hotel. The chalet also has its own facilities including indoor hot tub, sauna and games room. This will make it ideal for groups of friends or families.
A number of service options are available in the Cullinan such as self-catered – includes linen and towels included as well as cleaning at the beginning and end of your stay. Bed and breakfast – in addition to self catered service includes a continental breakfast delivery, daily cleaning, concierge team during your stay and bathroom amenities provided. Catered service includes VIP welcome with local wines, canapes and fresh flowers, Continental breakfast, fine dining in one of the hotel’s restaurant 6 evenings a week as well as a shared driver service between 8am – 8pm.
The location is Ski-in/Ski-out on the edge of the Corniche piste where guests can ski down to the lift and ski school. The chalet is a 5 minute walk to the centre of Val Thorens.
The Cullinan really does have the best of everything, high altitude, huge ski area and the incredible private facilities to enjoy. The entrance to the chalet on the first floor also houses the spa with indoor hot tub and sauna, both ideal for healing aching muscles and enjoying a well deserved apres ski drink. Set over a huge four floors the top floor houses the games room where kids will love the table football, dartboard and next door there is the cosy cinema room.
The nature-inspired interior design is modern, sleek and the straight lines combine beautifully with comfy furnishings. Huge floor to ceiling windows flood the living space with flights and give views of the mountains from every part of the chalet.
Each of the bedroom suites have been individually designed and have en suite facilities. The mixed use of leather, wood and wool subtly reflect the great outdoors.
When taking the chalet on a catered basis guests will be welcomed with local wines, canapes and fresh flowers. Children will also get their own VIP welcome! Guests have access to the in-house ski hire shop in the Hotel, hire can be organised on arrival to avoid a rush on your first day on the mountains.
A continental breakfast will be delivered for all 7 days of your trip and guests can enjoy their evening meal in the Hotel’s restaurant on 6 evening. There is also a huge sun terrace where guests can enjoy an apres ski drink or a bite to eat at lunch.
On the catered basis there is also a shared driver service which will run guests to ski school or any area of resort between the hours of 8am – 8pm.
The chalet is run as a totally private chalet but has the advantage of being able to use the hotel’s facilities. These include the massage and spa treatments, car park, hotel staff to prepare the fireplace and offer wood delivery (Each with an additional charge)
The Cullinan’s location, facilities and close proximity to amenities make this an ideal option for most groups. The famous Folie Douce is just up the mountain whilst the Saloon apres ski bar is a short walk. Quiet nights are also a huge draw to a ski holiday for many families and what better way to enjoy them than a film after your busy day and a delicious evening meal.

KIDS
Families with kids of all ages can make the most of the indoor hot tub, cinema room as well as having many dining choices. Eating out for many families needs to be flexible and the choice to eat on the mountain or ski straight back to the chalet for lunch is great. After a day of skiing kids can go up to the games room to play or chill in the home cinema.

Location
This luxury catered chalet is perfectly located with ski-in/ski-out access and only a short walk (or shorter lift with your driver) from town. The chalet is set to the side of the blue Corniche piste. All the shops, bars and restaurants are a short walk from the chalet.
