We’ve seen the super stylish and contemporary ski chalet, Grand Sarire, in the French resort of Val d’Isere, and you won’t want to stay anywhere else. You can literally ski right to the front door (snow permitting) and then simply walk to the Le Fornet lift 100 metres from the chalet in the morning. Grand Sarire is a beautiful property set in a peaceful location in Le Fornet area, 2km from Val d'Isere centre. Spread over four floors of 350 m2 this spectacular mountain retreat is filled with designer furnishings and object d’art. There are plenty of high tech gadgets on offer with flat screen TVs, DVDs, music system, Wifi and iMac computer. There is a garage with parking for several cars plus your own private chauffeur to whisk you around and talented chef to create culinary delights. What’s more the outside hot tub is an absolute delight as you soak up those phenomenal views. This chalet has a smaller apartment underneath to make it the Grande Sarire.

Chalet Grand Sarire is a beautiful renovated 5* ultra-luxury ski chalet, located on the edge of a pine forest in the exclusive village of Le Fornet, in Val d’Isere, 2km from the centre of Val d’Isere. Chalet Grand Sarire offers spectacular views and the highest levels of service coupled with outstanding facilities such as the lovely outdoor cedar wood hot tub and sunny south-facing terrace.
Le Fornet is a wonderfully quiet ski area and it has its own lift system that connects rapidly with the vast Espace Killy ski area and Val d’Isere.
Perfect for large groups, Chalet Grand Sarire can sleep up to 16, split into groups of 14 and 2, spread over 4 floors across 350 m2 of impressive living space, individually designed throughout with ultra-stylish bedrooms that feature their own terrace or large balcony to maximise soaking up those incredible mountain vistas. A breathtakingly large open plan living room is another major wow factor leading to a large outdoor wooden deck with cedarwood hot tub, the perfect entertaining space for apres ski.
At luxury chalet Grand Sarire, it is all about skiing. Nestled next to a larch forest, you can ski back to the chalet by leaving the blue Mangard and black Foret runs. Le Fornet is the highest area of Val d’Isere, and in two quick lifts, you’ll be on gently sloping glacier skiing with unrivalled snow at 3,300m.
Completely rebuilt in traditional Savoyard stone, using ancient timbers, the property is a unique gem. Divided into 2 main chalet spaces, Chalet Sarire and Apartment Sarire. In the larger chalet called Chalet Sarire, is the main living and dining areas and 5 bedrooms for up to 14, one bedroom has an additional adult-sized bunk-bed that will sleep up to two comfortably.
Below Chalet Sarire the Apartment Sarire is a well-designed apartment with 2 further luxurious bedrooms, a designer bathroom and its own beautiful living space. A heated ski room is a joy for keeping things toasty for the next day’s ski.
Everything at Sarire is about attention to detail – high tech entertainment throughout, bespoke furniture in every space, a dining table big enough to cater for 18. The stunning lounge offers a range of comfy designer seating areas, all framed by a lovely open fire. The central wrought iron stairwell leads up to 3 stunning bedrooms. One of the en-suite bedrooms sleeps 4 and containing adult-sized reclaimed wood bunks and a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. The other 2 luxurious bedrooms share a large monsoon shower room and toilet. On the top floor is an impressively large master suite with an ensuite bathroom, and a smaller king or twin ensuite room with a large terrace and west-facing view down to the main village.
With your private chauffeur at the ready to whisk you around the resort from 8am – 8pm you can choose where you wish to start and end your ski day. Your talented chef will create culinary delights from morning to night, so you don’t get to lift a finger.
