The beautifully designed Chalet Vieux Pont is not only the most spectacular, ultra-chic, 5* ski hideaway, it also has unrivalled spa facilities. What’s more you’re only 150 metres from the Le Fornet cable car and you can ski back to the front door via the blue Mangard ski run. There’s everything you could wish for here: private indoor pool and steam room, a very handy ski room with boot warmers for toasty ski gear, WiFi throughout, garage parking not to mention a personal driver service with 4x4 Land Rover 8am - 8pm and talented chef creating culinary marvels. A rare treat, you will also have fantastic views of the Isere river below. You’ll never want to leave.

Perched high on the cliffs above the Isère river gorge, the super-luxurious 5* star Chalet Vieux Pont is a designer’s haven and as glamorous as ever, perfectly positioned in the French resort of Val d’Isere for the best skiing in the Alps. Stunningly beautiful interiors with the finest spa facilities including indoor pool and steam room and outstanding service.
Set over four generous floors, much of one being taken up with exquisite spa facilities. We’re talking an incredible indoor swimming pool and glorious steam room, so you get to unwind and recharge in most the sophisticated way.
Everything about Chalet Vieux Pont reaches the highest levels of chic – bespoke designer furniture dominate each space with unique pieces of artwork hanging from the walls, interspersed with designer lighting and object d’art. The chalet is upside down with the living room on the top floor and bedrooms below. The double-height ceiling space in the living room on the upper floor is a brilliant light-filled space with views of the Fornet cable car, moments from the chalet.
An enormous reclaimed rustic oak dining table seating 10 is perfect for evening entertainment underneath exposed giant beams. What’s more, if you fancy a game of cards, look no further as a games table for four awaits. Not to mention an utterly charming open log fireplace, the central focus of the space, oozing a warm ambience, and perfect for putting your feet up on the oversized sofas to movie watch on the large flat-screen television.
Five beautifully designed bedrooms, sleep 10 are all en-suite with the most chic and sleek luxury bathrooms. On the entrance floor site the stunning master en-suite bedroom with a fabulous wrap-around balcony and spectacular views. Moving down a level, three large king/twin rooms await, each with its own character. Inside one, you’ll discover an antique carved door headboard and the rock face that runs along the inside of the room, for real wow factor.
Heading down again to the lowest level is a wonderful private bedroom with stunning views of the old bridge and a small terrace. Here you’ll find the indoor pool on this floor with a flow machine and a wonderfully relaxing steam room to banish any aching ski limbs – Chalet Vieux Pont is all about wellbeing.
Next door to Chalet Vieux Pont is her sister chalet, Rive Gauche, a perfect opportunity to increase guest capacity if required to 20. A very handy heated ski room is a joy not just to store ski gear but actually to keep everything toasty in the morning ready for the piste.

Over the past ten years, the team has travelled to some of the most exciting parts of the world, observing the best and worst that service has to offer.
Their exceptional service sets them apart, focusing on catering to your specific requests rather than making assumptions. The approach is highly personal, extremely flexible, and well-informed. If Chardonnay isn't your preference, simply inform them in advance, and they will curate a selection of Sauvignon Blancs and Viogniers just for you.
Upon arrival, you can expect to be greeted with Champagne and canapés. Lift passes will be delivered to your room, and ski equipment arranged to be brought to your door. Location
Chalet Vieux Pont is in the Le Fornet hamlet of Val d'Isere, at the bottom of the blue Mangard ski run, just 150m from the cable car. The resort centre is a 7 minute chauffeured drive away. Chambery airport is just under 2 hours away by car and Geneva is 3 hours away.
