Overview
Yellowstone Lodge is a 5* super luxury boutique chalet nestling between Val D’Isère and Les Arcs, in the idyllic Tarantaise village of Sainte Foy. Offering a wonderful ski-in / ski-out location, this super luxurious French mountain escape blends chic city style with traditional Alpine elements and outstanding facilities. Just 30 seconds away from the ski lift it offers access to some of the best off-piste snow in Europe, plus it’s a short walk to the village centre. New for the 2018 season is the spectacular outdoor jacuzzi swim spa with mind-boggling uninterrupted views up the valley, a sauna, massage room and a fabulous gym. All this and the media chill-out room ensure you’ll never want to leave.
This super luxury Sainte Foy ski chalet is as glamorous as they come combining traditional features of local stone and reclaimed timber, with a sleek contemporary aesthetic to spectacular effect. Finished to the highest spec to create a unique boutique-style retreat, Yellowstone Lodge oozes Alpine charm with the ultimate sophistication in every space – gorgeous designer interiors with vibrant colours, fabrics and furnishings with lime green, oranges and reds. The large open-plan main living space dominates with its big open fire surrounded by Andrew Martin sofas, giant winged armchairs and a dining table fit for a banquet. From here there’s a fabulous terrace with commanding views of the mountains.
Easily accommodating between 12-15, spread across Yellowstone’s 6 en-suite bedrooms, each room is strikingly designed to the highest specification with every creature’s comfort, including a flatscreen TV for cosy bedtime viewing. Two of the bedrooms offer sleeping areas for children adjoining. Everything at this Hollywood star quality property has been carefully thought about: wifi throughout goes without saying and Wii, iPod docking stations and Sky TV, plus a small office area with a scanner, fax and computer for anyone still tapping into work. What’s more, as a fun extra you can record your own skiing with a Flip pocket movie camera, play it back in the evenings and make a disc to take home with you.
Yellowstone is a fantastic party-style fully catered ski chalet, so that means you get your very own talented personal chef, at the ready in the kitchen creating culinary wonders from morning to evening.
With your in-resort driver at the ready from 8am-8pm, you can be whisked around the village and to other major resorts of Val d’Isère, Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosière and La Thuile over in Italy. If you want to enjoy some more time on the slopes or head into town to experience the nightlife we are happy to arrange nannies or babysitters.
Location
Yellowstone Lodge is fantastically located for skiing not just in Ste Foy itself but also in the major resorts of Val d’Isère, Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosière and La Thuile over in Italy – all of which are between a 10- and 20-minute drive away with your private driver, who will whisk you to the resort of your choice. The nearest train station is Bourg St Maurice which is just 20 minutes away. Grenoble, Chambéry, Geneva or Lyon airports are around 2hr 30mins by car and there’s a helipad just below this luxury ski chalet.
